As much as I would like to attend the Goldendale event, I will not be
able to do so. Primarily because I will be on a trip this week and I
can't schedule 2 in a row. (Not that I wouldn't want to!)
My friend, (a '94 GTS owner), and I, are taking a short trip for 6 days
up Highway 1/101 into the Humbolt Redwood Forest. The drag part is, we
have to come in via Salt Lake City. Since there is so little to see and
do in Nevada, we are, *cough*...*cough*...*ahemm*, 'trailering' in the
bikes to Sacramento where my sister lives. We'll leave the car and
trailer there and do the next 4 days via the coast.
My friend has never been in the Redwoods, although I have made that trip
more than a few times as I used to live in California for many years. I
think he will enjoy it.
It is possible that Wednesday, we will stop for lunch in Chinatown, SF.
I know that there are listers in the Bay area, so if anyone would like
to meet for lunch that day, roughly noonish, you would be more than
welcome to join us. I know of a few restaurants in town, including "The
Potsticker", (great prices and heaps of food), but we would be open to
suggestions if any of you can make it.
This all ramped-up rather suddenly, so unfortunately, not a lot of
notice. We are leaving Tuesday afternoon to drive to California, so make
your comments before then if interested and I'll send a reply. If I
don't hear from anyone, or we have left already, well...you'll know
where we will be 'lunching'. (But NOT guaranteed! We might find
something else!)
And yes, no laptop this trip. :^) I'll check out the list chatter when
we get back.
