"I, for one, love the fact that the GTS didn't sell ... they will always
be
deliciously rare and unique."

Very well said.

I look at toys (GTS included) this way. If you know what you like and
you think you can maintain it - buy it. I am not just speaking of parts
either, I am thinking of mechanical aptitude as well. If you cannot
afford the toy, you likely cannot afford to maintain it properly. Toys
come with an attachment called disposable income.

As for rarity and uniqueness, I like thing other people don't have, like
the GTS. I built my own trailer I tow behind my Venture. I have only
seen one similar from a distance in 13+ years. My Venture is stock
black, not to many of those on the road. My four wheel vehicles tend to
different as well.

Does it cost more money in the long run - probably. But how many F4's,
R1's, look-a-like cruiser bikes and Goldwings do you see every day! I
would say, to many to count.

I for one am not worried that the GTS is rare and unique. I would also
like to have an SRX and a Vincent as well. All in good time I guess.

My .02.
