I hear what you are saying. I'd guess the GTS uses a different cam grind to
the YZF1000R (Ace) amongst other things, anyhow.

If one was to fit an Ace lump complete, then retention of the Exup would be
desirable to retain low to midrange performance.

I wonder how GTS EFI would cope fitted directly to an Ace engine ?
