Vincent - I would be very interested in buying this set up if it is
available as a part from your Yamaha dealer in Switzerland. If you could
find out a part # and price and your dealer contact info, I could take
it from there.
I assume the whole headlight assembly is replaced, but fits in the stock
fairing and frame mounts?
Since I do endurance rally's in the US, I do a lot of traveling at
night. Even though I have auxiliary driving lights, I found it very
disconcerting last year when my low beam bulb burnt out on me and had to
drive for about an hour to get home at night, fortunately just freeway.
Heaven forbid if it went out on me during one of my rally's, since we
can all attest that the bulb is not easy to get to.
Thanks and regards

Hi Michel and Stein
There is one exception to the European headlight rule - the Swiss
version
of the GTS has twin parallel H4s, and a different wiring because of
this.
The amount of light available has proved more than adequate on all
occasions so far, so if there is an interest, I'd be willing to dig a
bit
here in Switzerland.
Kind Regards,
Vincent (does not sound Dutch but is so anyway)
