Simple mods from the past eh? Let's see.......oh yeah! There is a spacer on the right handlebar between the switch housing and the brake lever mount. Remove the spacer, loosen the brake lever and slide it flush with the switch housing. Viola! You can now see the clock without having to move your head! Another tip....make sure your trip meter reset buttons are tight. Just give them a turn clockwise and make sure they are snug. They have a tendency to back out with time. If you have any mods / ideas that you think we could all benefit from could you remention them please . Here's a small one from me to start , when you've got the top fairing off , change the dash background lights from 12volt / 1.7watt to 12volt / 5watt , for brighter dash lights at night . Also change the neutral bulb , as i've found it was always dim during the daytime . atb Nick T --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
