The windsheild has very PROFOUND effect on what goes on when
you have a paasenger aboard.
On both my GTS and my Hayabusa, using anything other than the
stock windshield creates sever buffeting that makes both of our
helmets jerk violently side to side at speeds over 80 MPH.

I was in the camp that a taller sheild would create a bigger pocket
of still air....it does when you're riding solo but having a passenger
aboard wreaks havoc with the bike's aerodynamics.

Many things come into play here including the height of both riders,
speed etc....
The best thing to do is experiment with different windshields till you
find what works best for you.
