I vaguely remember reading something about this in past on a newsgroup I
believe. As I recall, it was a 'bug' with 5.5 IE. It would just stop
doing things for no real reason. And as I recall...the only fix was a
complete reload of the OS and reinstall of the 5.5 IE. I'm sure that you
don't want go that route if at all possible, so I would suggest that you
visit the newsgroup and post/lurk for the problem. I'll bet there is a
'patch' or something to fix it by now.
