I should add that after wearing my Arai Quantum E (Slight Replica) for the
past 3 years, I find that my new Arai Signet GT (Forte Blue/white) is
lighter, and more quiet! It seems that every time I upgrade my helmet
(Shoei RF200, AGV R3, Arai Quantum E, Arai Signet GT) I'm more and more
impressed with the gains that are made over the years in helmet technology.

If I were only buying 1 helmet, then I'd call it a toss up. If you're
looking for a Snell rating then you'd have to go with Arai. All other
things being equal, I don't know which one I'd buy, unless you definitely
wanted a helmet that had a flip up chin bar--then you'd have a choice
between the Concept, Shoei, and a couple of other manufacturers.
