I have run the Dunlop D204 and Bridgestone BT56 without problems. Never
tried Michelin on the GTS, but I had some sort of Michelins on my 88 Suzuki
Katana 1100.

Jon,
Thanks for the comments. I run 38psi in the front, 41 in the rear and
traditionally use a light brake (in most situations). I would be interested
in hearing about the experience of others on the list that have run the
Michelin Macadam.

I once had a tire cupping issue, and found that it had to do with a
combination of low front tire pressure and heavy braking. I ran for about
1-2k miles with only about 25-30 psi in the front (the oem tire, Dunlop
202). Now halfway through my third front tire and I have not had a repeat
problem.
