Yea that's what I figured - either that or cleaning of the chain. The front
sensor ohmed out at 1.73 KOhms (@ 74 Deg F) so it seems to be OK. Just to be
sure, I used electrical parts cleaner to clean both the ends of the
connector.
BTW, I have an appointment with Battley Cycles in Rockville on 7/19. Two of
the listers suggested I take it there, which is 2 more votes that nay other
dealer got. I got the usual self protecting speech: "If Yamaha doesn't cover
the replacement, we'll have to charge you for the diagnostic labor." We'll
see how it goes. I'll just avoid suicidal breaking maneuvers in the mean
time.

Subject: ABS Fault code 11
This code is generally associated with lubing the chain on the center stand
with the engine running in gear. It means that the ABS ECU has detected a
differential in wheel rotation between the front and rear wheel. A common
source of concern for new GTSers....... everyone else on the list knew I was
going to tell you. :)
