Hello all,
My front shock leaks oil from somewhere beneath the silvery covers so
apparently needs replacement. Unfortunately, the nut/bolt combination that
fixes the upper part of the shock to the �omega� frame won�t come loose. In
fact, the little movement I got was the joint rotation of the combination
of nut and bolt, causing the bolt part to demolish the ridge on the frame
that was put there intentionally to prevent this rotation.
Suggestions highly welcomed (no significant corrosion on both items,
applied some oil yesterday; did try a little hammering)!
By the way, given the symptoms (severe oil leakage), could this shock be
rebuilt?
