Bob J, If the rear brakes lock up the HU is bad. This was the symptom on mine, the front ABS still worked but the rear would lock and leave big black marks. My HU was replaced under YES plan. Bob B. ps you might try flushing the fluid and putting the ABS in it's test mode a few times, flush a bit more etc. That may free up the HU parts. Be ready to charge the battery though if you run the ABS test a few times. BTW the rear pedal should really Buzz quite a bit during the test, not mildly. If you do that and can till lock the rear brakes above 20~25 mph the HU is bad and will need replacing. -----Original Message----- From: Bob J. I bought a 94 with 3000 miles (now 4300) and at first the rear locked up so I thought the HPU would be the thing to replace. Yesterday I tried the front and the ABS kicked in like it should so now I am thinking the problem may not be the HPU. Anyone experience the same problem? If so what did you do to fix it. Bob J.
