When you call K&N to order the filters, tell them you will also need the
smaller bow-by filter, they'll know what you need, I think the size is
standard. This tube is used to allow oil to escape out of the motor if/when
the oil level is surpassed. Damn good idea, it beats having blown gaskets
and such due to excessive oil pressure.
