Hallo Erwin,
Wout Broer Motoren in Hengelo did sell a high steer that don't need any
modifications on the "plates" (kroonplaten) . You can see two pics of it on my
homepage under GTS1000 part 2. It is the bike from Fred Schneider from Brabant
Holland who's also a list member.
