Yup, love them V-twins. I've got three of them. They are particularly great
when a manufacturer uses the layout to create a narrow bike. I've got two
Ducatis that look more like motorcycles to me because, for example, you can
see through them.
I like V-fours too. Works great with shaft drive. To be honest, I'm not
crazy about inline-4s. To me, those are car engines. (I'm happy enough with
the I-4 in my Miata, for example. Although I wouldn't mind a Honda S2000
either.) I'd have never considered the GTS if the engine was the bike's main
feature. Fortunately, I'll forgive that "common" powertrain for its other
unique characteristics.
