I think he wants proof of purchase to avoid any copyright messyness.
BTW, I bought my Service Manuel from a Yamaha dealer($65) and the pictures
are horrible....virtually useless. Looks like a copy of a copy. So, my
point, you can hardly do worse with what you get by mail order.
