Interesting ride, interesting look, I can see why it would be fun to ride at some occasions ( i.e.a desert race in Morocco) but the engine's buzzy, too buzzy for my taste. The power was not quite there, even though it felt very torquey between 4K-6K. The seat was uncomfortable for long hauls, the front end was somewhat heavy (kinda like the GTS with the stock tire), the gear box down low was clunky and seating position way up high, there didn't seem to be much wind protection at all. This was the 1992 fast red/gray so its looks are somewhat dated, especially up front but this is still a very cute bike indeed. I think its best feature is engine/Yamaha reliability and that's not quite enough for me to plop my money. If only this silly company of ours would make a kick ass twin ala TL1000S! Oh well, keep looking Giorgio
