I got the opportunity to ride one, a Sportster 1200, which suppoosedly is a
low-end one.

It vibrated my teeth out, wasn't sure if I had a seizure or not, the mirrors
got blurry from it, the seat was uncomfortable and the engine was lacking
torque and horsepower. I expected more out of $12K!!!

Any, ANY japanese bike will outperform the Harley in ANY way for the same
price, more comfort, power, torque, looks (ok, that';s objective).

Anyway, it's an outdated design, they just slap on different chrome and call
it something else for the next model year, the engine is the same old
poshrod clunker as always.

I actually wonder if the new liquid cooled engine will transform the Harley
into somethin gworthwhile or not, however, they are selling an IMAGE and not
a quality bike.

Just my opinions.
