Greetings to all,
I've been away on holiday for three weeks, so I've only just re-subscribed (digest
mode). While I was away some kind soul picked up my GTS . . after it had been knocked
over by some ass soul. That's life in the big city.
But it means I am now in the market for the following spare parts, new or reasonable
used . . .
1) Left hand front indicator housing (not the amber lens, just the housing).
2) Upper front fairing.
Quite a few other bits are scratched and scraped, but only those two bits are actually
cracked. The rest I'll try and polish out (it wasn't perfect anyhow), or maybe get
some spray paint to match. I bent the clutch lever straight again without any
apparent sign of metal fatigue.
Otherwise, can any UK listers recommend a seat re-cover service? The fabric of my
seat has seriously degraded (time/weather) and has now the strength and consistency of
brown paper, plus it leaves little sticky plasticky bits on my trousers.
