I stripped a stock countershaft; the first visit to my
local shop resulted in 4-5 months and re-assembly by a
different person who left out an oil tube in the
top-end.  4,000 miles later (hell of an engine to make
it this far by the way...) I sucked a valve.  4 months
in a different shop in Daytona Beach and I was still
having my chain jerked and then RSRBOB rescued me--if
he goes crazy I will still call him Superman!  Runs
like a scalded dog now and has ever since.

PS--the sad part was the countershaft was 70% intact
and a new sprocket might have lasted me forever but
they wanted to "fix it right"...
