Hey guys/gals/whomever:

Quick report on my newly minted Rick Mayer saddle.

WOW!!

I got it Friday, and had to ride to Baltimore this weekend--both days--for
an instructor's update for the new curriculum, which Maryland will be
instituting next year.

On the old saddle, which was rebuilt by a local guy, I'd have been squirming
after 20 minutes: NOT ANYMORE. I even wore "regular" underwear instead of
special long distance riding shorts or bicycling shorts.

I rode for a good 45 minutes yesterday (Saturday) morning--until I got
stopped by a MD State Trooper for having a flashing headlight (actually it's
modulated, but that's another story)--with absolutely no discomfort.

I think Rick's prices are fair and his service is excellent, and I will do
business with him again, if I need a seat rebuilt.

Makes Corbin's stuff look like the crap that it is, and is even better than
my Day Long saddle, which I was pretty happy with.

My understanding is Rick's late father invented the Day Long saddle and
apparently then sold it's design to Russell who continues to build it today.

Bottom line: if you need a saddle rebuilt: Rick is your guy, and I think
you'll love the saddle.
