I've only had the one Corbin (for the GTS) and I'd agree with Kevin's
sentiments. Once it's on the bike it looks and feels great. None of the
other aftermarket seats I've seen look as good. However, it still takes more
patience and care to remove and replace than the stock seat and the weight
of the thing is disappointing. I sent mine back with a bunch of photos
showing exactly where and how much I estimated the pan needed trimming. The
result was pretty good but not quite perfect. Overall I'd say it's still
worth the hassles, particularly when I imagine going back to the stock seat.

Joe.

Subject: Corbin Saddles rule!!

I have had Corbin saddles on all of my motorcycles from Ducati 900CR,
Triumph T595, etc. and I've loved the look and feel of everyone of them! I
even sent back my GTS seat to have it re-covered after 8 years of service
and they did a PERFECT job with the new carbon fiber leather. Now, this is
just one datapoint! I've heard an incredible number of horror stories in
dealing with their customer service. In fact, I just read one on the
ZRX1100 forum. To be honest, I hold my breath everytime I decide to do
business with them. These people can be incompetent idiots most of the
time, but in my fortunate experiences I've been totally satisfied. Looking
at the seats on Bill Meyer's website I think they're pretty unattractive
and I won't put one on my bike. :^) BUT!!!!! Attractiveness is a subjective
judgement and your ass has no eyes! :^) Seriously folks, we all have
different ergonomic needs and standards in comfort and looks. It's simply a
matter of deciding for yourself which direction is best for you.
