Henry,
I highly recommend Coleman White Gas since Trichloroethane and MEK are hard
to come by these days. Whatever you chose to use, perform a small spot
check in an obscure place such as the underside of the can to make sure it
doesn't cause staining.

Subject: Cleaning help
I took a passenger recently and it appears the person was resting at least
part of her shoe on the silencer, as there seems to be a deposit of what
appears to be rubber on it. What's the best way to clean it off, without
damaging the silencer's finish?
