I have the suspension adjusted fairly stiff and there's no ride height
adjustment (is there?)...cornering clearance seems fine. I'll look into the
pivot lubrication but I couldn't imagine it could affect it that much
without noticing the friction during the initial free movement of the stand.
Anyone else think their GTS is not particularly easy to get on the
centerstand?

It could be down to your suspension set-up , if you have your suspension set
low , so you can get your feet on the ground , it is alot harder to get it
on the main stand , because the mainstand has to lift the bike further up
and the starting angle of the stand makes it more difficult to get the stand
moving in the first place .
