After 19 years of MC riding, I definitely don't feel immortal like the early
days. Alas, I still have the occasional testosterone attack. The fact that
it took me 8 months to see the top speed of the GTS is pretty good for me.
That used to be the first thing on the list when I got a new bike, find an
open road and see what she can do. Though, I still like to ride fast when I
find a deserted back road with good pavement. It's not helping that the GTS
feels solid as a rock at ANY speed. I remember my FJ1200 would feel like the
front end is lifting off at anything over 125. Not the GTS baby...solid
handling all the way to top speed.
However, for my next cop encounter, I'll definately be going for the wait at
the side of the road with papers ready approach :)
