I just got back from the Sunnyside check point (plus a couple of days riding
around northeast Oregon). I figured Alan would go for the big ride. Sounds
like the ride trashed some bikes. Unfortunately, the 500,000 points for
Prudoe Bay on the first leg became 1,000,000 on the third leg. George
Barnes and Rick Morrison are probably just about there by now.
Fifty riders stop by the office. We had a great time seeing some old
friends and giving them a little break. It was almost as much fun for me as
riding in the rally.
Here's hoping the riders have a safe and successful rest of their ride.
