$69 ? Thats a good price for a retailer stocking item.
My last Yuasa GRT also lasted only 2 years, but I did not know about waiting
30 minutes after putting in the acid. (RTFM huh ?) I slapped the fast
charge on it within a few minutes of the acid being put in.
This time I waited 12 hours before charging !!

That's okay! One of my best friends is the local Kawasaki/Yamaha dealer
here in G'boro. He doesn't usually carry many batteries, but he had a
YTX14-BS on the shelf from Interstate battery! I've been a fan of the Yuasa
GRT in the past but the one I've had in my GTS lasted only 2 years after
the original lasted 6!! I know that proper initial preparation and charging
is THE most important part of a batteries life and Interstate is an
EXCELLENT brand for automotive batteries. Anyway, I did a little research
on the Interstate motorcycle batteries and guess what? They are made FOR
Interstate by..................YUASA!!! Too funny! So, I'll get to dump the
acid into the cells, wait 20 minutes, let the cells breath for 30 minutes,
check the level, then put it on my trickle charger overnight to ensure a
nice long life! I got the battery for $69 which is cool since I get it
tonight and I'm able to contribute to my buddies business.

Sorry, no, I wound up using it because the other battery was getting really
weak.� I did not know how weak it was until I left the key in the on
position for about 3-5 minutes, and it killed the battery.
I got it from Comp Access., I think the total cost for the GRT was about
$60.
