Lighter, certainly but still not quite dainty. After
having ridden a K1200RS last weekend for an hour or
so, I'm convinced that the GTS weight problem is a lot
less about what it weighs and a lot more about where
the weight lives.
Even at 628lbs. wet, the K felt like a dirt bike by
comparison. That said, the GTS remains a much more
ergonomically satisfying bike (for me) at speed.
