Perhaps this just continues to be a joke, but you red GTS owners are positively, outlandishly obsessed with the whole color issue! I own a '94, I like the color, and I don't care if it's slower. I just gotta ask: WHO REALLY GIVE A FUCK?! This can't possibly be this big an issue for you '93ers...
OK, maybe I'm a little cranky today, I t-boned a Toyota on my GTS on my way to work this morning. The bastard made a sudden u-turn directly in front of me, coming from the lane on my right and crossing right across my nose. I pulled a full panic stop, but to no avail, he was just too close, and I hit him going about 15-25mph. I faired better than the bike, just a sore shoulder. The GTS has moderate plastic damage and possibly tweaked frame/front swingarm, only a careful assessment will tell what the real damage is. That's motorcycling in Manhattan for you. Can anyone recommend a good GTS shop in the NYC area? Also possibly looking for an experienced personal injury lawyer with motorcycle experience. Any advice you all have would be most welcome. -Derek (now a very slow '94) [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Kaplitz" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 4:29 PM Subject: art of the motorcycle > I just got a copy of the "Art of the Motorcycle" which was the book that > went with the show at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC last year. > They show a 94 GTS-1000 in the slow Blue color but refer to it as a 93. > Hard to believe they'd make just a big mix-up.
