Yes my Pirelli GTS front seems to have worn out faster than the rear although I have gotten more miles out of them than you...I think...I can't remember exactly. Previous tires were a set of BT57s. Lasted longer but I must admit the GTSs have been great tires. I think for a sport-touring tire these are closer to the sport side of the equation than others in this category...hence they won't last as long. How has your rear faired (watch it SAs!). Is it worn out at 3500 miles also?

I could probably find my answer in the archives....but there's just too damn many tire threads to wade through. Well, I got a very disappointing 3,500 miles out of my Pirelli Dragon GTS front tire. My lowside crash came after about 1500 miles, so I haven't been cornering all that hard since then(almost no peg scrapes). Still there's virtually no tread left between the center and the edge of the tire. That is to say there's a little left in the center and a bit more left near the edge but nothing in between. I guess about 2,500 miles of the 3,500 was on twisty roads. So, has anyone that ran the Dragon got better milage out of a different tire? ============================================================================================ NOTICE - This communication may contain confidential and privileged information that is for the sole use of the intended recipient.
