Well, this afternoon, I'm about to ride my GTS for the first time in 6
weeks! The reason for the length of time is that I elected to have the
above operation on my right hand little finger. The obvious symptom is that
one's finger starts to bend/contract more and more towards the palm, where
eventually it couldn't grip a throttle (or golf club!) properly. The
operation involves a specialist hand surgeon, 40 stitches, a skin graft and
no use for 3 weeks of that hand. Wiping one's backside one handed/left
handed is an interesting for a right-hander! I am still wearing a cast at
nights to keep the little finger straight.
Expensive and time consuming, also frustrating as I have my little Beta
longing for exercise as well.
So, I can't wait to feel the breezes again this arvo! .....and bl**dy Xmas
has only taken 6 months to come around this time!
Regards,

Rob Chapman
