Can someone with a Euro-spec GTS (or anyone else) PLEASE get a part number for the Euro-spec dual headlight for the GTS. And, does anyone over there see if there dealer can get the dual light part (and get an estimate on the cost)? I'd like to see if it'd be possibly to buy the part and install the dual lights on our US-spec (single light) GTS's. Thanks!

I've also copied the list in, I have a feeling more people want to know about this. > Have you ever compared the set-up to a US-spec > (single-bulb) GTS? Nope. Hey, it's difficult enough to find a Euro GTS, let alone a US-spec one! ;-) I _can_ say the output looks quite good to me, but many other Euro owners can share their views. > Is the lens the same? Can't say for sure, but I think it is. I have no access to a part numbering microfiche with that info. :-( > What bulbs are used? Are they both on > at the same time, or is one for high-beam only? Right one (from rider's position) is high-beam only. Manual specifies the following: 12v 60W/55Wx1 and 55Wx1 (Except for A, CH) 12v 60W/55Wx1 (For A, CH) As I understand it, this means there is a model with a 60/55 and a 55 for all countries except two (I'm fairly sure CH is the code for Switzerland, don't know about "A", but it is not "America"). These other two countries get a single-bulb rig. > > Since I'm in Europe now, and it's easier to get GTS parts than it > is in the US, > I'm thinking of switching to the dual-lights and putting in an > HID lamp in side. Can't help you with the feasibility of that - the Spanish DOT is very picky about individual modifications to a vehicle, so the custom market for this kind of materials (inpected every two years on all bikes) is verging on nonexistant. :-( Roberto. ------------------------------
