I purchased a Bell 946 cordless RD (with helmet mounted earpiece) last spring and I love it. It was one of those VERY RARE impulse purchases I made....just told the salesman to give me the very best one he had for a motorcycle. No tickets all year (and we rode quick) so I guess it works. I wouldn't trade the earpiece for a loudspeaker mounted on the bike, otherwise every time you stop at a set of lights next to a bank you'll have everyone looking at your very annoying sounding bike.
I paid $300CDN. Originally I thought that was too much, but have since learned that it is a good RD, and good ones often cost more than that. I have yet to check out the test site Rick sent though. GWN Daren
