I bought an xring chain last summer and the tool to install the rivit link. When I got it home I discovered that I only got a master(clip) link with the chain. Oh well, at least the side plate needed to be pressed on, so I still got to use my tool to an extent. A few days later I'm checking out the chain...oh sh!t...the clip is gone. Gingerly ride to the nearest mc shop to order the rivit link and pick up another masterlink to use in the meantime. Install masterlink with a dab 'o silicone as advised by the guy at the shop. A couple days later I'm looking at the chain and notice that half of the clip is gone, the other half is still there...held on by the dab of silicone. WTF? After that experience, no more masterlinks for me. Rick _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
