Shawn,

If you are looking for definition of the O-ring that fits between the two
halves of the caliper, good luck. I was not able to locate any
picture/diagram that even shows it. When I rebuild my rear caliper in a
couple of weeks I will measure the o-ring and go to the local auto parts
place for a replacement. If you locate any info. about the o-ring, please
put it on the list.

Thanks,

Jeff B.

Subject: Brake O-ring Seals

Shawn,

"I'm searching for dimensions of the o-ring seals (admittedly haven't pulled
out the manual yet) and will go to a local industrial supplier for
replacements...should be 2-3$ each I'm told by my Ducati friends....some
special material (starts with a "B"...but I'm
brain dead this morning!)"

I do believe you mean Buna-N. But make sure you are sure BEFORE ordering.
Specific rubbers (back off S/A's) do weird things when introduced to
different chemicals.

$2 - $3 each would be very expensive, unless those shops have a minimum
charge they make you pay.

My .02.
