Well, It's official.... My contact at Yamaha USA in Cypress Ca. has let me know that the FJR1300 is coming to the USA with first shipments in August 2002.
Particular's: Model: 2003 FJR1300 Color: Liquid Silver (only color at introduction) Price: $11,499.00 (with bags, non-ABS) Currently, Yamaha USA is notifing all dealer of the following: 2003 FJR1300 New Model Introduction & Priority Delivery Retail Program Dear Yamaha Motorcycle Dealer: We are pleased to announce the introduction of the 2003 FJR1300 along with an internet introduction for your customers on March 1,2002 at Yamaha's web site: Yamaha-motor.com We are also launching a new Priority Delivery Retail Program that will offer customers the opportunity to place a $500.00 retail deposit at your dealership and assure them priority delivery beginning in August. Units will begin shipping in August 2002 and will ship in the order of receipt of the Priority Delivery Claim Form. As an added incentive, qualified customers will also be offered retail financing of $49/Month at 3.99% APR for 12 months from date of delivery.
