Here is a copy of my email to the T.W.O.

"The GTS 1000A was supposed to be an early 90's sport tourer flagship for Yamaha, but
it turned into an embarrassing farce. When the bike hit the shops, people DIDN'T, and
the GTS died a death in 3 short yrs."

Yes the GTS was more "out there" tech wise than other bikes and is was greatly over
priced, and people did not buy it for a variety of reasons, but a great ride it is.

As for "the GTS died a death in 3 short years" did you know you could buy new models
until 1999.

Let me ride a bike that has the smoothness, mid-range torque, as technically advanced
(we will leave the ABS issue alone for now), good looks, is on most collector lists
already and nearly ten years old still has people still asking "what is it", and I
will seriously look at selling mine to buy what you think has the best attributes.

Makes me beg that question, did you ever ride and/or test one long term?

For the record, mine is not for sale.

I am awaiting your rebuttal.
