John, mine has stuck frequently on me.

What has worked for me every time is that I put a little pressure on the
key, then with the heel of my hand, hit the passenger part of the seat in a
forward motion towards the front of the bike. I hit the seat just where the
passenger part meets the rider part.

You have to hit it quite hard and possibly a few times, but it has always
worked for me.

Give it a try.
