Glad you took it on the humorous side,Pablo. Everyone gets a bit of teasing
around here. Now that Kevin just had a daughter, I guess he'll be bait for a
while.

540,00 with a company called CASER, although I also have some off-bike
personal-injury insurance extension that adds 30 more. No claims since
1987, but even for a middle-aged married guy (yes they ask!) with a big
trail bike it's getting ridiculous.

My brother in law (you know, cuaaaaa-aaa-aaa-oo!!) fits the description
of a squid (20 year-old, single, no previous big-bore bikes, CBR 600,
although he is actually a very cautious rider). He was quoted last week...
how much? a ridiculous 2100 (US$1900+)!!! some companies didn't get past
the "bike make & model" stage ("CBR 600? you'll have to go elsewhere,
sir...").

Although the best-ever goes to a friend of mine that wanted to insure a
Honda Dominator about five years ago. How much was he asked to insure a
+-60hp, 600 cc trail bike? 400.000 pts(US$2167)!!!

And I heard some lame-ass in the BMW-GS list complain about the 270 he was
asked for somewhere in northern Europe... The insurance guys are really
screwing us...

Roberto.
