Having chickened out on my intention to sell the GTS, I'm now thinking of having it painted a different color. The red is just too fast! ;-) Seriously, my paint is a bit tired and I wouldn't mind changing colors.
So I'm curious... For those who have had a repaint done, what's a reasonable price? What questions can I ask my candidate painters to determine if they will do good work? Have any of the Denver listers had good or bad experiences with specific shops that they would care to relate? My thought is that I would take all the bodywork off, but that I would have someone else do all the prep and paint. I'm not thinking of any kind of special paint, but I do want a high-quality, factory-looking finish (or better) on all the parts. Comments?
