Does anybody know what the philips head screw in the end of the drain plug is for? It doesn't go all the way through (I'm not even sure it unscrews). I can't imagine trying to remove the drain plug with it. Just curious, I wonder that every time I change my oil.
Also, there was a light grease on the O ring on the Yamaha oil filter. I haven't noticed it before - is this on all of them? - I never noticed it before, but I don't always use a Yamaha brand filter. Bill
