Doug: Make sure you take in the Rader Gun Trials...it's pretty neat. The let you run your own bike down an active runway and the local Ontario Provincial Police (hence O.P.P.) blast you with the radar gun....first year I saw this...they brought the wrong gun...maxed out at 226 Kilometers....many of the bikes got the same speed...til they figured it out!
When I say active runway...I mean it! the trials are stopped when someone wants to land or take off. You're right on the hillside next to the runway...100feet away or so...so everyone stands up and cheers a good landing or boo's a bad one...quite fun! Shawn P I'll be in Oklahoma City starting Saturday of this week. If all goes well, I'll be up at the cottage 45 minutes from Parry Sound for the 5th. You're welcome to swim, crash, etc at our place if we have room...or you have a tent. 1.5 acreas, tip of a point...650 of lake front....water will be cool as we've had a very cold spring. They are pretty cool cops...but they do crackdown on group speeding, etc especially that weekend. As we've had a long spring...please watch out for gravel, sand in the turns. Roads are banked in the turns..the sun melts most of the snow and ice...so the twisties are real fun.
