I don't know what you mean by "matched set". In my experience, the 120/70 front tire gives a large improvement to the handling. However, the 180 rear tire is mostly a cosmetic change. If anything, I think it makes the handling a little worse (it makes the bike feel a little slower to lean) and it seems to get a flat spot sooner, since it's already a "flatter" profile than the stock rear tire. Also, I think that the 180 is a little heavier than the 170 stock (even if it's only a few grams). Remember, you want to avoid unsprung mass. Mark => => REGARDS => => John Griffin
