The sport bike ralley was this past weekend in Parry Sound Ontario...Canada. I (dawning the dipshit suit!) took my SV650 up inside the Odyssey MiniVan (a great reason to own one of each!) Drove to the cottage about 45 minutes away from P.S. .....Left the damn SV key on the counter at home....to much travel, not thinking....just friggin dumb. I'll burn a few keys this week and leave one up north now.
To bad cause Doug Wilson came across the Upper Pennisula to attend the ralley. Minneapolis to Parry Sound....now that's a nice jaunt! Invited him over for a few Pespi's...had a nice lunch...crashed by 5 rugg ratts from next door....little Mary (neighbor's kid) asks Doug...hey what's your name? Doug...he says....out of the blue comes... Whazzz Zup DOUG? Just about blew milk out my noise...cute kids and lots of fun. His bike looks great...great to meet him and we look forward to maybe getting together for the October ride in Wisconsin....I encourage you all (even Rob but I know he's in Australia that weekend) to attend next year....free housing....pool your funds for food & beer...650' of lake front...very quiet...very private.
