The CB1000 is a very different bike to the CBR1000F. See

Matt:

My bud has a CBR1000F...nice bike for sure....but MUCH more sport that
touring. GTS has a more defined feel...something you will not understand by
simply sitting on one. My dealer instructed me to "not take a candy ass
ride on one" the first 5 minutes you simply won't like it. 7-10 minutes
into the ride you'll react to something and the bike will behave in such a
way that you'll notice there's something different...and on and on...till
about 25 minutes... Just a truly unique bike period. You'll either love it
like most of us do...or you won't You must ride one to understand the "Zen
like" feelings we have for the bike
