Well at that time I was not looking for a GTS and I hardly knew of its several positive points. In fact two years ago I had just got my actual BMW 318i 97, and was trying to sell my old BMW 318i 89.
It was a really difficult task as everybody interested were strange people, a mean people who didnt seem to be serious: a man aged about 40 who needed to ask his parents for money, another who wanted to give me 100 $ each week till pay 2350$(the selling price),.... A was a little disappointed as I appreciated the car which was in very good condition. At the end met a motorbikes dealer who was interested, saw my BMW K100 87. (another "antiquity", that worked as a clock), and told me the unbelievable offer "Would you like to exchange the car plus the moto, by another moto from my shop?" At the beginning he want me to keep a Honda Pan European, but he also had a GTS and wanted (318i + K100 + 1100 $) for it. One week later he accepted just the car and bike, (it seemed he had already nearly sold my K100) So I didnt need too much time to take the decision. So thats the story... Greetings.
