No, still got all my teeth! Got the bike two weeks ago (see list) and I love
it. There was somthing wrong inside a wiring harness. The man did sort it
out and all works perfectly now.
Like I said the GTS is something completely different then the Vmax. Love
the Vmax too but the GTS is almost just as powerfull and the handling is
superb.

Planning a 5 day trip on my own to mid or south of France this or next week.

Early september there will be another trip to mid France, Colmar and surr.
(organized weekend +/- 1000 miles).
So there will be lots of miles to work at. Seems to be no problem for the
GTS!
And not for me.

Regards from Holland.

P.S.
Is there a GTS owners club in Holland or Belgium?

Gerard.

So Gerard,

Heard anything yet? I'll bet your chomp'n at the bit to get a ridding on
the GTS, eh?

If the dealer can't figure it out, you should suggest to them that they
contact Yamaha directly via a representive who can get the right people
to diagnose the problem. It shouldn't be that big of a deal to figure
out the code, I believe that most, if not all of them are in the manual.

See if you can get the mechanic to 'release' the code to you. Post it
here, I'll bet someone here will have an answer for you overnight.

Hell, I'll bet someone here will have the *right* answer by overnight!

;^)

Hehehee...I'm soooo bad.
