Sure....it will probably a sticky mess though while filling the bottle. The pump will handle it fine. It could be a problem in that that sticky stuff flings off pretty easily until it dries for 10 minute on the chain. If you want super duper chain lube, add a little Prolong to a bottle of Mobil 1 90 wt gear lube. That is what I use and I didn't have to adjust my GTS chain for 14,000 miles during my last ride.
