Hi all , Well my used and abused GTS is starting to show it's age , checked it over yesterday , found the Main stand had split / rusted through from the inside out on the R/H side ( brake side ) right where the stand goes from tube to mounting lug , i've welded it up , you may wont to check yours , if i'd left it any longer i'm sure the stand would have snapped causing some heavy duty damage . I've also drilled a 4mm hole in each of the stands feet to hopefully stop moisture causing it to happen again ( can now spray a bit of WD40 into the legs , that should hold it for a while ). What made it happen , crapy UK weather , road salt , no garage , etc etc . Think i'll have to move to somewhere sunny , like USA .
