I picked up the RT-P yesterday and rode it home--hottest day I've ever ridden in
I think. With the heat of 95 degrees F and humidity in the 70s+
percentage-wise, the "heat index" (what it feels like) was 111!!!

By the time I arrived home, after about a 40 minute ride, I was soaking wet and
starting to get dehydrated. I don't see how anyone can ride without protective
gear in this heat however, as my Aerostich kept me from feeling and being
seriously effected by the heat radiating off the roads--and believe me--it was a
lot.

My car as a thermometer inside which shows outside temperature. I've always
thought there was something wrong with it when the announced temperature was in
the 90s and it was reading 100+. Not anymore!!

Stay cool guys!

I have to do a couple of retests at 1 p.m. today for the students who failed
their range test in courses over the past few weeks--I think I picked the wrong
time frame....oh well.
